John Patrick Sullivan, author and practitioner of the body/mind arts, has taught and researched the common principles that are shared between Yoga, Tai Ji, Chi Gong, and Ayurveda (ancient medicine of India).  "I have been most deeply influenced in recent years by the practice and teachings of Shinzen Young, who taught me the path of mindfulness with great equanimity and compassion.  Emily Conrad, A.H. Almaas, and B. K. S. Iyengar have also helped me to experience new dimensions of moving and being."  He lives in Santa Barbara, CA.
